Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Hexrocket collects, uses, and protects personal data, in line with Israel's Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981, as amended by Amendment 13 (in force since 14 August 2025).
1. Data Controller
The data controller is Hexrocket, a software development company based in Israel. For any privacy matter you can contact us at dvir@hexrocket.dev.
2. What data we collect
We collect only the information you voluntarily provide through our contact form: your name, email address, an optional subject/company, and the content of your message. We may also process limited technical data (such as IP address and basic analytics) needed to operate and secure the site, only if such tools are in use.
3. Purpose of collection
We use your data solely to respond to your inquiry, to provide the services you request, and to maintain records of our correspondence.
4. Legal basis and consequences
The legal basis for processing is your informed, explicit consent, given when you submit the contact form. Providing the data is voluntary; however, without it we cannot contact you or respond to your request.
5. Sharing and international transfers
We may share data with service providers that help us operate the site and deliver email (for example, our hosting provider and the email delivery service Resend, operated by Resend, Inc.). Some of these providers may process data outside Israel; where this occurs, we rely on appropriate safeguards and adequacy mechanisms. We do not sell your personal data.
6. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access your personal data, to correct or delete it, and to object to direct marketing. To exercise any of these rights, email dvir@hexrocket.dev and we will respond within the time required by law.
7. Retention and security
We keep your data only as long as necessary for the purposes described above or as required by law, and then delete or anonymize it. We apply reasonable technical and organizational security measures to protect your data against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access.
8. Cookies and analytics
The site stores your theme, language, and accessibility preferences locally in your browser to improve your experience. If analytics or cookies that identify you are introduced, we will obtain consent as required by law.
9. Updates
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always available on this page, with the last-updated date shown above.
